My husband and I really enjoyed the Smokies two summers ago. Be sure to
look at Arrowmont in Gatlinburg while you are there if you have not seen
it before. Gatlinburg is t-shirt/pancake house alley, but Arrowmont is
really great. It's right in the middle of Gatlnburg, but concealed
behind trees and up a long driveway. You would never know you are in
the middle of all of that hubbub until you walk down the driveway. I
had a wonderful time taking classes there twice. It's nice to be so
close to the Park, too. Swimming in local swimming holes is wonderful
and you can't beat the scenery!!!! We had a mother bear and cubs right
down the hill from the cabin we stayed in!
