These books are all published by Davis. I recommend
that anyone who wants to make their teaching a rich
experience buy them. The topics discussed in these
texts represent (to me at least) why art education
matters. Perhaps if we all "framed" how we taught
based on these ideas, we might make a stronger case
for why our programs are a part of the educational
"core" and should be taught by art specialists. I
refer to them all the time. Perhaps if we, as the art
teachers, show our support for publications like
these, more books like these will be published.
