I'm weaving now with 7th graders as a "filler project" while others finish
up figure drawing. Instead of using a plastic needle this time, we're using
pieces of matboard cut about 2" long x 1/4" wide and pointed on one end. I
punch a hole in the bottom of the "needle" and kids tie their weft string to
that. They're weaving small drawstring bags. I've got the directions with
