Insurance coverage now my resp.

We are going to have to pay our own insurance now.
I am overwhelmed by the choices.
Does anyone have any concrete suggestions about how much coverage to get
etc.?
Quite a few policies seem pretty inexpensive $300 for a family of four. Is
there some hidden fine print involved? We don't mind a high deductable.
Any advice? quick?
