Re: HS Photography - digital/chemical

Date: Tue May 13 2003 - 17:31:37 PDT

Patty and others,

Right now in the middle school I teach I introduced a digital photo class.
There is no possibility of having a wet/chemical photo class because of space
and scheduling problems. In the case of my middle school it is digital photo
or no photo.

I teach the class in the media center computer lab two periods a day. All of
my supplies on a cart, 11 cameras, picture card readers and a file holder for
handouts and collectio of projects. There is a LCD projector in the room and
I does most of my teaching with it. I use my web site to show examples since
I really don't have bulletin board space available.

My school's population just keeps getting larger and we are pressed for
space. An expansion plan has just been completed and if the bond passes work
will begin ASAP.

Thanks to all for their responses.
