Yes, that issue also came up. The counter argument is that digital is also
expensive when you factor in cost of software and upgrades. Also, ink and
paper is also required to make digital prints. In the long run laser is
cheaper than inkjet but Epson makes some great archival inkjet printers, inks
and papers.
We wondered if digital is really cheaper in the long run.
How much time is required to keep a darkroom going verses maintaining a
computer lab?
