We do our Family Arts Night the 1st Thur. in May for two reasons: April is
Nat. Poetry Month and the kids do poetry readings during Arts Night
celebrating their poems/art work they have created in Apr. And the city of
Portland has First Thursday each month where every gallery opens its doors to
the public for the opening of new exhibitions.
