Re: why did YOU like art?

I try to think like a child when I plan for my projects for the year.
What will they love? What will grab them? What will make them
passionate about the creative process? What will make them think? What
will challenge them? What will give them direction, yet allow them
enough freedom to make every project unique and different? What will
make them successful and leave them wanting to do more? What can I
teach them that will cause them to grow more skillful? What will put an
unusual twist on something? What allows them to discover their
quirkiness? What shows them beauty? What makes them think in different
ways than before? I know it when I see it every year. My mood and
enthusiasm are as vital as theirs will be at first. You are right, it
is Sooo vast. So many ways to go. I have to love it and see them
loving it to want to teach it!
