One of my French Friends has suggested this translator:

It is more accurate than AltaVista. You might want to share it with your
high school language teachers and compare the translations for other
languages. I have it bookmarked now and will link it on my site (soon).

I have met so many wonderful new people as result of compiling this list of
experts!

P.S. World teachers - let me know how it does for other languages. Ann
Heineman, if you are reading, how is it working for you? Ann is studying
French right now. I sould make her write her messages to me in French
(tee-hee).

C'est plus précis qu'AltaVista. Vous pourriez vouloir le partager avec vos
enseignants de langue de lycée et comparer les traductions pour d'autres
langues. Je le fais marquer maintenant et le lierai sur mon site (bientôt).

J'ai rencontré tant de merveilleuses nouvelles personnes comme le résultat
de compiler cette liste des experts!
