Looking at your website, your art room looks enormous !
I was especiallly interested in your figure drawing examples you have posted
with first grade.
How do you introduce this lesson at such a young age ?
How long does each student model ?
and what do you do if the student doesn't want to model ?
I have wanted to do figure drawing with my students for a while now, and this
time of year seems to lend itself to this minimal suppy type of lesson.
(my district would have a cow if I let kids stand on tables, let alone post
it on the website !!! ( insurance risks ) They scream when teachers stand on
chairs to put up bulliten boards LOL :)
Any info on your approach to figure drawing would be great, I'm sure others
would benefit also. Anyone else have other ideas in this subject ??? Please
post :)
