the "new" constructivism

 Forty years ago we had this NEW, WONDERFUL teaching method. We called it
"The Discovery Method" . Now that I'm an old fogey, I understand what my
elders meant when they said everything comes back if you wait long enough. I
keep seeing the same old things coming back with new names.
This is not to say they aren't good. Take what works from all the theories.
Just don't buy anything in totality--don't throw anything out either. And
don't believe for a second that it hasn't gone around before--several times.
