ohdear... I was really just trying to give you a compliment, you know,
the emphasis on the "talented" rather than the "profound"... you are so
so competent at EVERYthing (well, except wheel-throwing, I guess...).
I haven't ever tried to teach anyone calligraphy yet, so I'm just going on
my own frustrating experience, and it would definitely be typical of me
to "fuss" rather overmuch ...
