I do that too! I also tell my first and second graders that if they use
their time wisely and clean up on time, I will put music on and let them
freeze dance. My older kids like to have free time to draw so that is a big
incentive to clean-up on time. Also, I saw the first table clean, gets to
leave first. That's the old competitive thing. Works even with fifth graders.
