earthlink has a DSL deal going on now. No initial hookup fees, etc
and it is 49.95 per month. As soon as DSL gets to my area i am
going to get it. You caould always just add in a second phone line
if it ends up to be cheaper than the DSL, but where I am it is 20 or
so more for the 2nd line and we pay 20 for internet. I figure the
extra $10 is worth the speed and hassle of dialing in.
