                here's one I love:
A fellow teacher bought a polaroid camera for her classroom. Not
very expensive, just the cheap kind. Now whenever anyone sleeps
in class she photos them and mails it home in an invitation stylke
envelope with a quick note saying something like:
"If you would like to talk about Johnny's grades - feel free to call me
at 555 -5555."

The kids became terrified after the 2nd or 3rd photo arrived at their
houses.

Oh, I sing to my kids if I need them to be quiet. I'll just break out
into an old sitcom theme song or something (the Love Boat is my
fav) and they all stare at me with the "she's crazy" face. As soon
as they are all quiet, like in 2.5 seconds, I'll finish the verse and get
on wqith class.
