Congratulations on your knock-their-socks-off presentation, Jill. So,
are they going to send you to Miami Beach next year? We'll look forward
to seeing you.

Have I been inspired by the convention? If you only knew! I've got
huge binder notebooks full of handouts and notes I've scribbled. When I
first began teaching art, sculpture was my weakest area. The sculpture
presentations helped a lot, and I've used a lot of their ideas over the
years. For several years I've been collecting bookmaking ideas, and
have been using them the last couple. I've used a lot of "big" ideas
(meaning, an entire unit based on a workshop), and a ton of "little"
ideas (tweaked a unit, or lesson plan, or just a technique to make it
better). I've still got a lot of ideas I haven't used yet, waiting for
a time when I'm ready for a change.

Maggie
