Many of the greats did not finish thier works.. Perhaps an A should go for quality, rather than finished. Did Leonardo finish the Last Supper? A thought.

    I haven't figured out a good way to deal with unfinished work, either..... I had a few students who were unable to finish their final paintings which were extremely challenging.
     
    While none got "A's" since they WERE unfinished, I certainly gave special consideration to a couple of students who arranged to come in during study halls, after school and even one Saturday when I was at the
