Re: Venting about us and lurkers

We all know that our teaching encompasses more than art. We also teach
integrity and character by example. If a student has made a bad choice or
done something inappropriate, taken ownership for his/her behavior after an
adult has spoken with him/her about it, and made an attempt to improve or
repair the situation----we would be proud of them, and continue to
encourage them. We wouldn't continue to persecute him/her once they have
come forward and work to better themselves or the situation. Even though
adults should know better, shouldn't they also be given this same
opportunity at least once?
I am glad for those people who have vented. It obviously struck a note
with many, many people. We all need reminders now and then.

   Just my two cents.
