Hi,
We've been out of school for a week here in SC and I finally finished
my NBPTS and sent in my box! Yeah! Now I'm thinking about next year
because I need to turn in my supply order. Our school has a theme each
year and I try to plan around it. Last year was "We're on a Learning
Safari" and my featured artist was Rousseau. We did some great jungle
things. Anyway next year will be something with sports and while I have
several art projects in mind already, my mind is blank as to what
artists I could use. I also have a table artist for each of my 8 tables
in the room and I label the supply basket and hang a sign above the
table. I change the artists each year. When I call a table to line up I
call them by the artist. For instance, "Mondrian's table can line up" I
know when the year is over they will at least be familiar with some new
artists' names. So I thought I would use Degas this year (all those
ballerinas!) as one of the table artists but that is the only one I
think of. Maybe Rockwell because he did so many action things with
people? Thanks for any ideas!
