Acrylic Paintings, Australian Puppets--END OF YEAR!

It's hard to believe that our school year is over--graduation is tomorrow! I'll really miss this group of kids, and I'm in awe of the work that they have produced this year.
Please take a minute to check out some of their last projects:
Upper school students finished the year with acrylic paintings, and some of the most powerful (and challenging) ones were portraits done using one color plus white and black. They also could do a painting of their choice, so there's quite a variety.
My lower school kids finished the unit on Australia by making an Australian animal puppet. These also turned out well.
Now I have to start thinking about the summer art camp where I'll soon be teaching, and making plans for NEXT year!
