Hi, Susan... I haven't tried it out yet but I've made four samples which I
really like and the kids have seen. They are intriqued with the tool and
asked to do it so I'm planning on starting next week (Tues.).
As for the shredder, it's fantastic and makes it easy as sin to do. It takes
only a second to shred LOTS of colors and the 12" strands are just long
enough to give you great coiling length.
If you want info, I can send you my resources via snail mail. Got a few
sample pictures, instructions, and history. The history is a compilation of
what I've found on the internet AND books. Strange that there are so many
varied facts about quilling. It all depends on the book (or site) you read.
I tried to find common facts and compile my own fact sheet. Send your
mailing address if you're interested.
I've taken some snaps of my samples but haven't gotten the film back. I am
sooooo "INTO" quilling now after making my samples. Hope the 7/8th graders
will be. Toodles......Bunki
