As to 'scoring' in ceramics, I teach high school, and they sound like Beavis and Butthead - huh, huh, huh, she said 'score'- I told them 'okay, laugh and get it out of your systems, and then we don't want to hear it again', and you know, it didn't come up except for a very few snickers ever so often by the less mature in the group... I tell them, yeah, there are some things in art that you have to deal with if you're going to stay in it - nudity, funny terms - get over it!!!
