5th graders in my classes have been weaving, trouble is, it doesn't take
much class time. They take all their materials with them. I see them
weaving at recess, in the cafeteria, while waiting for the bus. They've
wiped me completely out of yarn! It's good to see them so excited. They
teach eachother new patterns and how to make the weavings into things like
pillows. Always a winner.
