I did an environmental understanding unit with my 4th graders...unfortunately it was in the winter and we could not go outside...(although I would have loved to do snow/ice sculptures) I am going to introduce Goldsworthy..but did not want to repeat too much of what the 4th graders were/had done!
Good Luck! In fact, my 5th graders today came in wanting to know why/when they were going to get to do it. I asked them how they knew (I took pics and had done a bulletin board) They said....people talk!
