Need info on NECC in Chicago

My district wants to send me to the National Educational Computing
Association conference in Chicago in the latter part of June. I've got
the info on the conference but I can't quite figure out what the
workshop offerings are really about. Does any one out there know of
this organization or about it's annual conference ?
