They did 5 different works. One of then was called Portal. It was huge
limbs that were proped up against a tree in a triangle shape with a cross
beam on the top. It almost looked like a giant person! The kids said it
was a doorway to another dimension! Another work was an installation like
piece called "The Camping Trip" This work included a large (tall enough for
the kids to stand in) "Tent" made of large branches that sort of interwove
and curved at the top. They supported the branches with large rocks at the
bottom.

Another one looked similar to a tee-pee but had 4 poles for the 4 corners and
was circled with grass.....so very cool! They also added an old baseball
cover they found.

We have a somewhat woody area that is safe to go into right beside our
school. I let the students go to the edge to collect what they needed,
rocks, grass, bark, etc.

So wonderful!!!
