It's just like a blot print.
Use 12"x18" white construction paper. 6"x9" black construction paper.
Fold the black paper in half. Draw half of a vase shape. Cut out.
Fold the whilte paper length wise (we call it a hot dog fold) Place the cut
out vase on the paper and trace. Save cut out vase for later.
On right side of paper, draw a flower shape. Use lots of paint. Immediately,
fold left side over and print. Continue adding flowers, stems and leaves. Add
designs to the foreground as the table top. When finished printing flowers,
glue the vase on. You can let the kids decorate the vase with oil pastels in
time allows. Very easy and beautiful. I demonstrate different ways to draw
flowers such as Bluebonnets, roses, tulips, etc. They've had a blast! JH
