I had to giggle at one of my second graders this monday.
We are doing flower still-lifes using the foldover blot print method. As I
was demonstrating, there were lots of OOHS and AAHS. Then one of my students
said" Gee Mrs. H, that's beautiful! You should be an artist!" Funny how
they think that only the famous artists are the only true artists. Iv'e
decided that some of my art work is going in our art gallery next year. I've
even suggested we showcase the talents of some of our other teachers. JH
