I have learned a great deal these past six

. . . And, apparently, how to teach. Thank you for letting us know how you
inspire your students.

p.s. You mention teaching students to know what NOT to paint. It has me
thinking about the best way to teach drawing to young (k-5) students. I
encourage them to look at and depict detail and texture in their drawings
because otherwise they are plain and less visually exciting. Perhaps it's
necessary to get them to see and render things, THEN decide what to leave
out. Thoughts? Anyone?
