sorry i haven't been taking part in your interesting nature/nurture
discussions. i hurt my hand in school so i'm typing one-handed - i've been
lurking. (side note: BEWARE OF X-ACTO SAFETY CAPS. they're not quite as
safe as they could be.)
but i have an important question - how long did it take you to adjust to the
planning/schedule of f/t teaching to the point where you weren't
overwhelmed? a year? 3? never?
i ask because i may have to leave my p/t job and though i've never had any
desire to teach f/t, i'm contemplating it - since it's either that or not
teach at all, most likely. my p/t job was just about f/t this year since
i'm an obsessive lesson planner, so naturally my main concern about going to
f/t is completely burning out. just wondering what your thoughts are as to
adjustment periods.
