AP Question

I have a job interview for a high school position on Monday, and want to be
able to talk intelligently.

My question is, what kind special training do you have to have to teach AP
courses? Do you need to renew this on a yearly basis? Can it be taken online
or through correspondence from anywhere?

My reason is, although I have taught high school, I have never taught AP
before, and the training given here is done through the university at there
summer campus 6 HOURS AWAY! I can't leave my family for the three weeks the
class takes, and definately can't commute.
