Judy! Just from reading your e-mail's I can tell that you are a great
teacher! I live in Florida and I like the Florida Joke! (smile). I am glad
you are going to fight! I agree with everything you said. My husband
reassured me that the requirement will not hurt good teachers or good school
districts. School districts that are aware of the importance of art
education will not cut the program. It is unfortunate that not ALL people
will get the valuable visual arts courses, and at risk students NEED it! It
is always nice hearing from you! Keep doing a great job! -Melanie
