We were told that the budget for next year was tight but
were not given any amounts. I had to turn in my orders
on May 1. I searched and cut and finally came to an
order of less than $1000. (BTW I teach 6 classes of
average 20 kids.) When I placed my papers on the pile in
the office, I saw that one music teacher's orders
totaled $13.000! I couldn't believe it! The person in
charge, a fellow teacher who heads the School
Improvement Team, told me not to worry, that she's not
going to get it all. But, the nerve!
