Before I was tenured, I used to smile and accept ALL that stuff. Display boards, banquet programs, posters, signs, ............
Now, I look at them in the eye and start giving Them suggestions on how They can do it, and say things like" I have lunch after 5th hour, if you want to make it in my room that would be a good time", and "What a great idea, I have paper for You to use"
People have gotten the idea, now I have to train them to order their own paper and paint!
This is not to say I am not a nice, helpful person, but I have a job to do and I need the time and means to do it.
Sarai -29 days of school left!!!

I know that feeling! Just got asked to do a poster for a visitation-needs to
be ready at 3:00 today! Don't you just love the way people say, "Why don't
you ask the art teacher?" and then expect it to be whipped out in 10 minutes
when they have failed to plan ahead??! Linda in NC
