I've always wondered what the name of that soap is...the white soap (they
use in the dispensers in the restrooms) that comes in bar form and is ground
up by using a crank. My school no longer uses these dispensers and so I
scooped all the bars I could find in the storage closet. I does work very
well.
I make this white soap (Fels naptha?) available along with the green
stainremoving bar soap but my best weapon is a product called Quick n Brite.
It's pink and you dilute it (I usually put it in a regular dish detergent
bottle. One of the builders in our brand new building had accidently left a
tar stain on the new carpet in the office. I finally couldn't stand looking
at it any more and gave him a small bucket of the stuff...nedless to say it
did clean the stain and then every other stain he could find, he finally
returned the bucket...empty! I'm glad I only gave him a small amount!
It also takes off permanent magic marker like the graffitti we sometimes
find on doors etc.
When I saw it at the home show the demonstrator sprayed it in his mouth
about every 15 minutes! Just to prove it is non-toxic! It also got Melted
crayon out of the backseat of my car!
Sorry this is so long I could go on but I'm sure you get my drift. Middle
school kids must wear smocks but accidents do happen, they usually realize
it's their fault but the heartache of ruined clothes is still hard to take.
I help them do their best to get the stains out.
