Just a note for all...
If the student does not use the proper guide hole on the sharpener- pencils
WILL split and lead will break. Strange why this happens- but it does. I
have two wall mounted ones and one electric "commercial grade" and it happens
to all of them. Once the "proper" hole is selected- problems dimminish.

ALSO...

Especially with prisma colors (the only ones I use) Lead will break while
sharpening if pencil has fallen on the floor. The trauma tends to break the
lead inside. Care and maintainence of materials is a 15 minute lecture with
the students -save lots of time and pencils later!
