I have a parent who is a rep for Faber-Castell. He told me that colored
pencils should only be sharpened by hand. He also said that Faber Castell
colored pencils are glued all the way through so the lead cannot break and
fall out. I thought he was putting me on but I had previously ordered some
colored pencils from another company and sure enough the leads were breaking
and falling out.
