Chandra, at first when I read your message I thought you were a gym
teacher...that's the kind of day I've had. I have large 6th grade classes as
well on a cart, so I symapathize with your gym space dilemma. (In fact I'd
love it!!) My suggestion to you would be to bring in buckets of water,
containers of paint and do all the elaborate mural projects that many of us
can't do. You could really spread out if you have such a large space and
then the kids would be working together building cooperative learning skills
etc. You wouldn't have to focus so much on single faces and they could
create a team atmosphere. I suggest ancient egypt to start....so much to
choose from!!! Good luck....and remember what doesn't killyou makes you
stronger! (Its my theme of the week) Stephanie
