What formulas have you been using?

Try this cone 04 clear glaze out and see if it works for you.

Colemanite (Gerstley Borate) 65.0

Kaolin 5.0

Silica 20.0

The percentage of materials should total 100.

If it is runny, you could play with the Kaolin (clay content). If you add
more kaolin and less colemanite and it should be less runny. This will
probably craze on stoneware. That will makes it not safe for food.

I would be really careful working with the chemicals. Make sure you wear
an approved double respirator when you are mixing stuff
up.

Have you talked to your local ceramics supplier to see if they will
donate any supplies?
