I use foamplastic (like in the trays you get fish or fruit at the
supermarket) but these are especially made for printmaking. The students
use thick pencils to draw the image, then I use printmaking colour and
rollers. I have also made them colour the plastic plates after they have
printed with oil pastels and they make nice works.
Then I have also made soft ground ecthings with my 11 and 12 yrs. old. They
were really successfull and the students loved it.
