Hello! I am new to the list and very excited to have found it. I am a
museum educator at an art and natural history museum and am working on a
class that involves combining art and our African Animal exhibit. So far
the class is focused on the different ways to draw animals. I am thinking
of covering gesture, representational drawing, and building on basic shapes
("what basic shape is the rhino's head", etc...). The class will be
primarily for early elementary students and basically I am a little stuck
on how to explain, or rather, simplify the explanation of gesture drawing.
Can anyone help me with this?

Also, any other thoughts or ideas that come to mind that would suit this
class would be very appreciated!!
