Carla is right and this is well documented in "Strong Clear Vision", the film
on Maya Lynn. Transforming an existing work is also dealt with in Christo's
work, the Wrapped buildings.
I have been thinking and thinking on the tiny works. I can think of some
eastern carvings and minatures but they just don't have the same kind of power
as the monumental works.
