Great DC Workshop

This weekend I found out that I will have to leave the convention in
Washington early and will miss a wonderful off site workshop that I've
signed up for. It's #508 in the Registration Booklet- "Drawing on the
Artist Within". During a visit to the Art League School of Alexandria's
Torpedo Factory Art Center, Ross Merrill (Chief of conservation at the
National Gallery) will discuss the idea of a "portable studio." Then,
you and 24 other artist teachers will sketch the beautiful street scenes
of Old Town Alexandria. If you would like to go, e-mail me. The
workshop was $20 so I would love to trade workshops with someone (it's
too late for a refund). Even if you don't have something to trade with
me, please still let me know that you would be interested in going. It
would be a waste for no one to go.
I could really kick myself for leaving early because I was so excited
about this workshop! But, it would really make me feel better if one of
you guys were going and could let me know later how it was.
