First day of print making, my high school kids do their monoprints
right on my formica table tops with watercolor or tempera paint - they
love it - its a sponge clean up - very spontaenous and fast - you can
actually go back in about three time and add to the paint - I make them
create a tape register - after that, they're hooked and ready for
safety cut,etc.

Another tip - if anyone is throwing out ends of daisy wheel computer
paper - our bookkeeper has ends of the double part - great for
artist's proof and monoprinting - like using pricy rice paper.
