>1. To make a card, fold an 8/2inch-by-11-inch piece of paper in half twice.
>Put a small mark on the front of the card.
>
>2. Unfold the card. Put a textured item (such as burlap or lace fabric
>scraps, a tiled floor, corrugated cardboard, or leaves) under the marked
>part. Rub a crayon over it. Use just one color to show the pattern, or
>use several to create a picture. Fold the card again.
>
>3. To make a matching envelope, put a dot in the middle of an
8/2inch-square
>piece of paper. Fold up three corners to the dot, and tape them in place.
>(Don't tape the envelope closed.) Fold the top corner so it overlaps the
>others.
>
>4. Open the top flap. Create a rubbing on it, as in step 2.
>
>5. Write a message in the card, then put the card in the envelope and seal
>it with tape or a sticker.
