When my son drew all over our diningroom furniture with a black permanent
marker I scrubbed it with Murphy's Oil Soap and a scouring pad for a long time
and the best result I got was it faded.....luckily most of the marks were knee
high, and they aren't too noticeable ... unless you know they are there. Not
one of my favorite parenting moments.... (he was 3 years old, I had just
gotten home from the hospital after losing a baby and my husband was out of
town, I think the scrubbing was therapeutic).

<< First let me say how much that I am enjoying reading everything that you
are writing. Thanks for all the information and support!
A friend of mine asked me if there is any way to remove permanent marker
wood where it bled through the paper where a child was working at her desk.
Is it possible to remove it somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
