I have a friend who is looking for a little guidance for an art program
fundraiser and I thought that some of you might have ideas for her. Her

message is below. Please let me know if you have any suggestions and I
will pass them on to her. Thank you in advance for any thoughts you
might have.

I'm looking for the names of any well-known living artists in the U.S in

different regions that might be supportive of children's causes. I'm
working at Children's Memorial Hospital and developed an idea to hold a
charity art auction to raise money for a program we have here that
needs funding - it's called KidStart - an art therapy program to help
kids who have been violently injured or abused or sick heal through
art. My thought was to have artists from all over the country donate
one piece of artwork to this event and the money raised from the auction

goes towards supporting this program. I don't know if there are artists

that typically would be willing to donate one piece of work, but I'm
hoping that it's a cause they would believe in.

Any help you could give me or ideas, thoughts? Thanks so much!
