This thread started with gender issues for art educators.... I have a
question about students.

I notice my elementary art students are pretty balanced when it comes to
"talented artists" but, when these same students get to high school, it
seems very few girls are pursing their interest in visual art.
My students are 98% Navajo-Dine'-Native American. Is this a common
occurrence in schools with other ethnic heritages?
