I was wondering if anyone out there has tried/had success using
synectics (Nicholas Roukes et al) at the middle school level? My
seventh-graders loved "taking a line for a walk" and they all like my
"Synectics Bucket" (my version of a synectic wheel) to generate ideas.
They even use it just for the..I don't know what to call it- creative
buzz?...if they have a few minutes at the end of class.
But I haven't done much else with synectics as yet, although I think
it's pretty cool.
I'd love to hear from you.
