I teach wet photography in a class called "Modern Graphics" that also
includes computers, animation, and the history of motion pictures. Most
students in the group are juniors or seniors.
I think that the inclusion of wet photography helps to illustrate the
history of the process. However, it is becoming more expensive. The history
of motion pictures is also getting longer. In order to have enough class
time to do everything, I have cut down the number of rolls of film we
process. They don't do enough to become proficient--only enough to say they
have done it.
